In the recent sitting of the 8th Assembly, Honourable Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi, Lawmaker representing Bende North Constituency Abia State, delivered a heartfelt contribution recognising the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Alex Chima Otti, OFR, in addressing critical infrastructural challenges within Bende North Constituency, Abia State.
Honourable Ibekwe began by recalling that at the inception of the current Assembly two years ago, he had moved a motion, designated HAM 2, which highlighted the menace of erosion in his constituency. He expressed profound appreciation to Governor Otti for taking decisive action in response to the concerns raised in the motion.
A key highlight of his address was the flag-off of the construction of the Elu-Court-Ndi-Ofuche-Amapu road in Amabo Alayi, Bende North Constituency. Honourable Ibekwe described this development as a testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to improving infrastructure and tackling the pressing needs of the community.
Further commending the Governor’s leadership and vision, Honourable Ibekwe expressed optimism that more developmental projects would be initiated to enhance the quality of life for the people of Abia State. He emphasised the importance of such projects in driving sustainable growth and improving the welfare of constituents.
