Today, on International Women’s Day, l choose to celebrate an extraordinary woman; an amazing amazon who embodies the spirit of strength, dedication to duty, and compassion, my primary school teacher at St. Philips Primary School- Mrs. Ngozi Obi.
Mrs. Ngozi Obi is a shining example of a woman who has made a profound historic impact on education in her Aba (then lmo state) and beyond. Her unwavering dedication to teaching and learning and professional ethos is proof of her unshakeable strength and character.
Through her remarkable journey as a teacher of repute, Mrs. Ngozi Obi inspired countless children and individuals with her courage, perseverance, and generosity. Her selflessness and kindness touched several hearts, including yours truly, and her legacy will continue to resonate and motivate future generations.
Mrs. Ngozi Obi was a passionate advocate for widows empowerment and their children’s education. She worked tirelessly to promote condusive teaching and learning environment, equality, justice, and opportunities for women and girls, leaving an indelible mark on her community.
