Today 30th May 2025, the Legislators kicked the executive in their Novelty Football Match against the Executive, winning 2-1! 😂 It was a match made in heaven: drama, excitement, and zero policy debates! 🙅♂️
The Deputy Governor was seen cheering like a pro, Senator Darlington did the “goal celebration dance,” and Hon. Ginger Onwusibe… well, let’s just say he needs to work on his footwork 😂.
But the real MVP was Speaker Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, who showed off in his impressive sports outfit, making calls that left everyone in stitches!
When a player complained about a foul, Speaker Emeruwa quipped, “Don’t worry, I’ll ’emerge’ with a fair decision!” 😂 The crowd roared, and the game continued with laughter and excitement.
