Hon. Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi (OziomaChi), lawmaker representing Bende North Constituency in Abia State, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Patriarch of the Ukaegbu family, Elder Barr. E. E. Ukaegbu.
In a condolence message, Hon. Ibekwe described the late Elder Barr. Ukaegbu as a man of remarkable integrity, whose life was marked by exemplary leadership, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to justice and service. He noted that the deceased was not only a pillar within his family but also a guiding light to the wider community, where his contributions left lasting impacts.
According to the lawmaker, the passing of the revered Patriarch is a significant loss, not just to the Ukaegbu family, but to all who benefited from his counsel and leadership. He emphasized that the late Elder Ukaegbu lived a purposeful life, leaving behind a legacy of honor, unity, and progress that will continue to inspire future generations.
Hon. Ibekwe urged the bereaved family to take solace in the impactful life their Patriarch lived and the enduring legacy he has left behind. He encouraged them to remain strong and united during this period of grief.
He further prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and asked God to grant the Ukaegbu family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
